Pop Culture Shock Collectibles Inc (PCSC) was formed in 2007 to produce high quality collectibles. PCSC is owned and operated by sculptor and designer Jerry Macaluso.

Jerry Macaluso Bio

Macaluso entered the world of collectibles in 1996 as a freelance sculptor for ReSaurus through his former company SOTA Sculpture and Design. This was quickly followed by projects for McFarlane, Toy Biz, Mattel, Applause, Equity, Spinmaster, MGA and many others.

In 2001, after having established SOTA Sculpture and Design as a top toy prototype and design company , Macaluso formed SOTA Toys to take the next step into manufacturing. The first products were a series of licensed minibusts from one of Macaluso’s favorite films, Planet Of The Apes.

This was quickly followed by action figures and collectibles based on many pop culture icons such as Street Fighter, World of Warcraft, Tomb Raider, Insane Clown Posse, Snoop Dogg, Johnny Cash, Charmed, Aliens, The Thing, Darkman, Jeepers Creepers, Killer Klowns From Outer Space and Marvel Comics.

In 2006, at the height of SOTA Toys success, Macaluso sold the company and took a sabbatical to focus on developing and producing films.

In 2007 , with his film career going strong, and realizing that manufacturing collectibles was something he was still passionate about, Macaluso formed Pop Culture Shock Collectibles.
